The holidays usually brings out some of the best treadmill deals – and this year is no different.

In addition to their Black Friday sales, Proform has come out with something very interesting this year.

They’re calling it Proform Plus or Profom+.

It’s a pretty cool new offer – you can get a Free treadmill, elliptical, HIIT Trainer or even a bike – when you sign up for a monthly iFit membership for 3 years.

While it’s not for everyone, it’s still a very interesting proposition, depending on your personal goals, budget and fitness plans.

What is iFit?

You may know this already, but iFit is a popular streaming service you can use across Proform fitness equipment.

You can stream studio workouts to your treadmill console – from HIIT Training to treadmill-based workouts to running workouts and more. It’s like taking a fitness class from home.

The class instructor can even change the speed and incline of your treadmill for you during the class (you can override this if you don’t want it).

You can also use iFit to run famous trails all over the world – from the streets of Paris to the shores of Hawaii. You can run on your own or run with a coach who motivates you along the way, giving you info about the various landmarks you pass by.

iFit adds a very cool new virtual reality training feel to your workouts.

You can also track your progress with iFit, see how far you’ve come and use it to set new fitness goals.

There are literally thousands of workouts to choose from – from walking tours through France to hiking the Swiss Alps.

So all in all, iFit is pretty cool. A lot of people like it and if you were going to get a monthly membership anyways – why not get a Free treadmill or elliptical out of it?

As of right now, if you sign up for a 3-year monthly iFit membership, you can choose from a number of popular Proform fitness machines to get for free.

You can get the Proform Pro 2000 treadmill for free or the Smart Pro 12.9 elliptical or even the Proform HIIT Trainer Pro. (You can’t get just any treadmill or elliptical for free – only certain models).

The iFit Coach membership is about $39 a month. That’s much easier on the budget than spending $1200+ on a machine up front.

So again, if you were going to get iFit Coach anyways – why not get a free treadmill out of it?

Also, most people don’t know this but one iFit membership covers up to 4 different people in your home. So everyone can use the iFit membership and streaming workouts.

Plus – you can also use the membership across machines. You basically only need one iFit membership and you can use this across your treadmill, elliptical, bike or HIIT trainer. So it’s a pretty good deal.

If you were set on a different Proform treadmill other than the Proform 2000, then obviously this is not the deal for you. You’d be better off going with the treadmill that you want at the end of the day.

But if you’re looking for a good deal and open to something a bit unconventional – then this might be worth your time.
